Thought maybe a bit pricey for a hair slide and a bit 'young' for me, but I could sew it on my jacket as a brooch - which you can, but I was otherwise wrong. It is exquisite, worth every penny and I wear it in my hair with pride without feeling like mutton ;-) Be warned that it is time-consuming being stopped by ppl who want to ask about and admire it.
