A Death Conch, the rare and sinisterly strange variety of the exotic spiraled shell mysteriously featuring the likeness of a human skull, was once known to have surrendered a spectacular and very large, gem-quality iridescent black pearl, said to hold propitious powers and which today is sequestered each year at the Plage Noir festival in Germany.
Plage Noir' festival inspired piece.
