Alchemy England Paracelsus - The Philosopher's Familiar Hand Painted Christmas Bauble (BB2)
Regular price
£18.99
The feline familiar of the renowned astrologer Nostradamus, who, having outlived his master, carried the seer's arcane wisdom from Paris to London. There, he is said to have crossed paths with one William Shakespeare, adopting the mysterious nom de plume Grimalkin - a name destined to become synonymous with the witch's familiar.
Meet Paracelsus! The Philosopher's Familiar, a mysterious black cat steeped in arcane legend and gothic symbolism.
Beautifully depicted surrounded by intricate roses, this enchanting feline makes a striking addition to any gothic Christmas tree. The design is delicately hand painted from inside the glass, an intricate and highly skilled process that gives the artwork an extraordinary depth and finish. On the opposing side is the beautiful Alchemy signature logo, painted by hand.
Because every bauble is individually painted by hand, no two are ever exactly alike. Subtle differences in each piece are part of its character, making your Paracelsus bauble a unique Alchemy creation to treasure for many Christmases to come.
The reverse carries the classic Alchemy logo, painted within the glass, while the black velvet ribbon and gold-tone cap complete this beautifully dark decoration.
Crafted from high borosilicate glass. Painted from the inside each Alchemy bauble is finished with a black velvet hanging ribbon and gold-tone alloy cap.
Every bauble comes presented in a beautiful black gift box, making it a special Christmas gift for lovers of gothic art, black cats, witchcraft, folklore and the arcane. The box features an elegant imitation-silk fabric exterior and the iconic Alchemy Alchemist Skull in gold foil on the lid. Inside, sponge cushioning and a cardboard foundation provide a dedicated place to safely store your bauble when it is not on the tree.
Please note: Due to the individual hand-painted nature of this product, no two baubles will be identical. Each one is unique to you. We are you to watch he video of the painting in motion.
